Request to acquire the Lebanese Citizenship by marriage.
One year after registering the marriage in Lebanon, the Lebanese Law gives the right to the wife of a Lebanese Citizen to apply for the Lebanese Citizenship.
Both spouses should present themselves personally, by appointment only, after providing the following required documents :
* The original Wife's Birth Certificate translated in arabic and legalized by the State Chancellery and the Federal Chancellery in Bern.
* The original Lebanese Marriage Certificate.
* A recent Family Extract of Civil Status (not older than three months), showing the registration of the marriage in the Lebanese records.
* The wife's valid passport.
* The husband's lebanese valid passport.
* Two certificates of residence in Switzerland for both spouses, legalized by the State Chancellery and the Federal Chancellery in Bern.
* Four recent passport photos (colored with white background) for the wife.
* Copies of all documents above mentioned.
