The vital records registered at the Embassy, are regularly sent by diplomatic pouch to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, which in its turn transmits it to the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, in order to register it in the Lebanese civil registers. The required documents for a Death registration :
* Download and fill out the Death Application Form.
* The original Death Certificate, legalized by the State Chancellery, with a copy.
* Two copies of a recent Individual or Family Extracts of Civil Status for the Deceased.
* The Lebanese passport and/or the Lebanese identity card of the Deceased, with a copy.
Consular fees : No fees are required for death registation.
